About Me: I am a Mental Health Counselor offering affirming, culturally responsive therapy rooted in care, curiosity, and connection. As a Black, masculine-presenting lesbian (Stud), I understand how powerful it can be to feel genuinely seen and met in therapeutic spaces. In our work together, we create space where queerness, identity, and lived experience are not just welcomed, but centered.
I bring over a decade of experience working with students, veterans, military families, and adults navigating emotional, academic, and life transitions. Together, we often explore queer identity development, gender expression, and the ongoing process of coming into self. We also work with the impact of trauma, building resilience, and making sense of anxiety, depression, and mood-related concerns in ways that feel compassionate and grounding.
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and deeply identity-affirming. I am especially passionate about working alongside LGBTQ+ clients, Black and marginalized communities, and teens. Therapy with me is a space where we slow things down, listen closely, and reconnect, building emotional steadiness, clarity, and self-trust at a pace that honors your lived experience.
